I went to file Bankruptcy with Eugene Michael Vereen. After a very brief consultation (where he informed me that Bankruptcy is not a big deal anymore and preceded to compare it with a DUI) with him and then a longer one with his assistant( where I heard lots of( " I never told you that" and I was having a hard time remembering all the things she NEVER told me ) and she also was changing the way I was going to file ( at this point Im feeling sick to my stomach because now she is trying to do Michael's job and now hes gone so I cant question him). I told his assistant that I was feeling very nervous about the whole thing and she said "oh dont worry everything is fine!" I wasn't feeling very good about this meeting because they didn't seem to be on the up and up, the assistant asked more questions then he did and learned more about me. Michael claimed via phone (FINALLY) that I didn't tell him everything...FALSE I told him the story of how I ended up back in GA, yet HE didn't ask me any details about it (which I thought was strange because I was expecting him to ask me many questions), HE DIDNT DO HIS JOB. I went to Michael because I have never been through the process before so I wanted a professional and I needed HELP, I felt like I was sitting across the desk from a "BossHog", he was cold and not very thorough because I kept thinking "IT CANT BE THAT EASY??!! He told me his fees for filing bankruptcy are $1, 899.00. So I wrote him a check for the full amount. After trying to reach Michael for a few weeks and trying to figure this out for myself because he obviously wasnt concerned about his client (only the money) I realized that I cant file for Bankruptcy! If Michael would have done his job I would have known that from the consultation!) Michael REFUSED to give me any of my money back!! He claims his service was "performed" which it obviously wasn't. He took almost 2K only for me to come to the conclusion that I can't file (If he was a professional he would have know this at the consultation but all he cared about was my check book). This guy preys on people who are at the lowest points in their lives and SUCKS what you have left out of you. NEVER GO THERE!!! His advertisements say "I listen, I care." He only cares enough to get YOUR MONEY. He doesn't take credit cards because he doesn't want you to dispute his "services." My gut feeling about Michael was "Shady" I should have ran from his office! I feel like I have been RAPED! I WANT ALL OF MY MONEY BACK FROM THIS CON-ARTIST WHO LACKS MORALS, SHAME ON YOU MICHAEL !!! I WILL FIGHT!!

Was told on a dui case my charges would be reduced and he promised me I would keep my license.at court he got me the maximum on everything done as if I should have never payed this crook almost $1700.if I would of known he wasnt gonna fight for me I would have never botherd.Thief
