Claim Amount Rs.375/- not received

I AM FROM RAJAHMUNDRY (ANDHRA PRADESH)

I HAVE PURCHASED TANDOOR COOKER FROM EBAY.IN IN DECEMBER 2015.

WHEN I HAVE RECEIVED THE PRODUCT IT WAS TOTALLY DAMAGED AND OLD PES GOT FROM EBAY.IN

I HAVE CONTACT MANY TIMES TO CUSTOMER CARE BUT I HAVE NOT RECEIVED PROPER RESPONSE.

AFTER MANY DAYS I GOT MAIL AND CALL FROM MUMBAI AND TOLD TO SEND PRODUCT TO SELLER AS GIVEN ADDRESS IN INVOICE BY COURIER.

HE TOLD AS PRODUCT RECEIVED TO SELLER THEN AUTOMATICALLY MY PAID AMOUNT WILL BE TRANSFER TO MY BANK ACCOUNT.

WHEN I ASKED ABOUT COURIER CHARGES WHICH I PAID RS.375/- HE TOLD HE OR SHE WILL SEND DD BY COURIER.

MY CLAIM ID IS 1521110.
DATE 14TH DEC 2015.

UPTO TODAY I HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY RESPONSE FROM EBAY INDIA.

TODAY AT 11.50AM I TALK WITH CUSTOMER CARE ON NO 18002093229. MR.NIRMAL PICKED MY CALL AND GIVEN REPLY THAT THERE IS NO PENDING AMOUNT TO MYUSER ID. [email protected].

I HAVE ALSO TALKED WITH TEAM SUPERVISOR MR.SUREKHAN MOHAMAD AFTER WAITING 20MIN BY KEEPING MY CALL ON HOLD FROM MR. NIRMAL.

MR. SUREKHAN MOHAMAD TOLD TO DO AS I LIKE AND ALSO TOLD TO KEEP THIS ISSUE IN CONSUMER COURT.

I THINK THIS IS NOT A CORRECT WAY TO DO LIKE THIS.

Reverse PickUp and No Refund

This is regarding Claim ID : 1285050 for PaisaPay ID : 40418204660


I had purchased a camera Fuji FX660EXR from geb portal of ebay.
The camera was defective.
The defective camera was reverse picked up on 3rd Oct
and Fedex delivered the defective camera to seller on 6t Oct
using Fedex Tracking No: 774649044784 (Reverse Pickup no KNUA26 on
3/10/2015)

Now (20th Oct, after 17 days) I am informed that current status
is:
"Pending from Logistics for the Reverse Pick up"


Earlier my feeling was that JUST ONE SELLER on EBAY cheated me
by wrong listing of his item (faulty item was shown as new).
But now I am feeling more cheated. A camera which was 30%
defective costing around 10,000 (Ten Thousand Rupees) has been
picked up by Ebay, send to seller and there is no sign of my getting
my money back. I have lost both the camera and my money.

Every time I call customer care number I am promised a call
back within 24 to 48
hrs by Ebay claim department for past 10 days, but no call back
has taken place.
Earlier some persons answering customer care number promised refund
on even same day/next day.

It is impossible to belive that management in Ebay is so pathetic
that one department (Claims department) can not ask another
department (logistics department) what the actual status is.

What is more likely is that to reduce further claims (and hence
their work) they are delaying the process so customers inform
others so that other customers move to Amazon/Snapdeal and their
work reduces. Or maybe they are just cheats.

ebay India Guarantee scam

Wanted to share my horrific experience with ebay india, to caution other online customers.

1) Purchased Blackbery device from Seller=mobmantra1 - PaisaPay ID 30920393844 on 23Feb2012
2) Exchanged emails with seller, who confirmed on email tht the device is genuine and new in original blackberry packing
3) Received product after a week, th eproduct was not what the seller had promised to ship.
4) Under the ebay.in guarantee, I raised claim # 81605 on 09Mar2012.
5) No action from ebay.in for 2 weeks. I then called up customer support - they said they will escalate this to their claim department.
6) The seller called in the meantime and agreed that I should send the product back to him and he would instruct ebay.in to refund my money.
7) Deafening silence from ebay.in. Abruptly the status of the Claim is changed to Closed stating that the buyer has
asked to close the claim - blatantly false. On calling ebay customer support I learn that the status change has been
done by Nilesh Tambe.I call ebay cutomer support on 24March and I also drop ebay india an email - no response
8) I call up ebay customer support again on 04Apr2012, they patch me up to Ravindra Pandey. This gentleman looks at the system and keeps repeating that the buyer has asked to close the claim. I refute this. Then Ravindra says possibly someone else answered my mobile when Nilesh Tambe called and gave consent - this is rubbish, I always answer my own mobile calls.I tell him that I am not satisfied with the redressal and want to escalate to the head of ebay India - he refuses to give me the details and instead asks me to drop another email to <[email protected]> which ebay india would respond to .He also says that they will retrieve the call details that Nilesh Tambe purportedly made to me and verfify.
9) There has been no response to my emails.

This is a blatant scam from ebay india - they make rosy claims on their website about safeguarding buyers under the guarantee. They just rip off people. There is zilch accountability. They just take customers for granted and take people for a ride. I hope the govt agencies do something to penalise ebay india to stop such blatant misuse of the ecommerce platform

in India. It is ironic that ebay india claims to be an evangelist of ecommerce in India - they actually practice just the opposite - this does not bode well for the Indian ecommerce space. I hope established palyers like Amazon commence direct busness in India soon and wipe out the fradulent companies. I make online purchases on Flipkart, letsbuy and have had no issues with them.

File the complaint with Paisley. Ebay can not force a refund, but Paisley can. Files as Item Not As Described.
