The soles of a few year old but rarely worn pair of Ecco dress shoes disintegrated while attending a wedding. Walking from my car to the church caused huge chunks of the sole to fall off. The shoes look virtually brand new and have been kept with cedar shoe trees while not being worn. I have over 64 pairs of shoes and never have I had a pair do this. Is there anything that can be done?
