After wearing my ECCO shoes for less than 30 days the foam or what ever you call it started crumbling off the shoe.
There is a thin rubber sole that sandwiches this foam material to the bottom of the shoe. It literally started coming out of the side of the sole creating a huge embarrassing mess all over the floor while I was at work. This material comes off as chunks and breaks into even smaller pieces creating an absolute mess, I had to leave work in shame because my shoes were literally littering the floor in my office with black debris. Had to take them off in my car as it persisted disintegrate.
This comes less than a month after the same incident happened to my ECCO Gor- Tex pair which literally did the same thing but I wasn’t in my office to suffer the embarrassment. I wasn’t as alarmed to the first pair as I thought I may have stepped in something that triggered this.
But after this I researched this to find a lot of people are having the same issue. The shoe is very comfortable but this issue with the sole is unacceptable and should be fixed as they are not cheep.
