I paid $1,400+ by check and guaranteed by CC in advance for 3 short 1hr local limo trips in Manhattan this weekend for my daughter's wedding.

The first p/u was fine, the car was older than promised, but the driver was on time and the trip was uneventful.

The second p/u started 1/2hr late (our fault) but should have been completed on time anyway if the inexperienced driver had not gotten lost. I was calling from the destination and had to give the driver directions to get to a well know destination The Water Club - he refused to take my directions and circled the area for 20 minuets before finally arriving. When he arrived he asked for $180 overtime. I was angry because he got lost and refused.

I called the office and said there would not have been any overtime if the driver had know where he was going and the woman on duty, Valerie, agreed that I could sort it out with the manager Monday. Valerie and the driver were polite and courteous - we just agreed to disagree and wait until I had a chance to speak with the manager Monday.

At 1AM the third and final car arrived (an old Lincoln instead of a new Cady) and picked up my son-in-law and exhausted daughter. The driver, a retired cop, asked if my son-in-law was me and if he had the $180 overtime for the earlier trip. He said no and the driver pulled over and said he was going back the the Water Club first to find me and collect the $180 - I really wish he had tried. Instead, my son-in law agreed to let the driver bring him to an ATM to get $100 to settle the disputed amount and get my daughter back to the W Hotel since she was not feeling well. It's like a Rio kidnapping.

When I found out about this earlier today I called the office again to complain and got a call back denying my characterization of the events but and an offer to refund the $100 the driver shook my son-in-law down for. These guys really added stress to my day and I would never recommend them to anyone. We would have been better off with any other car service. I chose them because they are supposed to be wedding specialists. They are shake down specialists. Beware
