Scam / false info / pretence booking ref. 7493009871

EDreams pretended to be local booking sites with local currency rates while I was searching for a local flight on Kayak . But that was a fraud . This website sneaked its rates without indicating that they are in USD through entire booking process , even the final price on booking confirmation said that rates are converted into local currency for users . Not so much! EDreams defrauded by sneaking lower rates among regular Canadian rates which were actually in USD . Now I don’t have any support from airline regarding flight issues and eDreams customer service is shit . I was transferred to an indian call Center which sucked . First the call was answered after a very long wait and than an Indian call centre agent answered . I called twice first he heard me and hung up on me . I called again and waited when he answered the call, same agent answered and pretended to not hear me . It’s been a crap experience. Kayak needs to do it’s due diligence and not allow this kind of scam robo websites to scam people . Really disappointed! Save your money and time people .

name was backward

My name was wrong on my ticket, first name first, last name second. My husband's name was correct.
I had to pay $2,447,57 US. for a new ticket at the airport. Was not aware of the new law, it has to be last name first and last name second. They are travel agents, they should know this information,
I sent copy of my existing ticket, their ticket and boarding passes together with file numbers at the London Office on Mortimer street in London on October 17, 2015. Never heard from them.
I would like a refund. Their mistake.

poor service

STAY AWAY from these yahoos. Thought I was dealing with Air Canada when I was buying tickets. Edreams logo didn't show up until I was paying. At this point I assumed it was part of AC. Paid this ludicrous service fee. Boy was I stupid! Called back to reserve seats and after working through the attendant's heavy Indian accent I managed to reserve two side by side seats and he was to email the info to me. After a few hours of not receiving the confirmation, I called again. They had no record of any seat assignment and now wanted to charge for the service with less desirable seats. Asked for a supervisor and got put on hold and then disconnected. Very deceiving, very unprofessional, very bad service. When "edreams" pops up on your computer, back up and go a different route.

Nightmare!

This company has caused more heartache in booking a simple flight than I could even explain! The WORST customer service I have ever endured! They made an error on my first booking of Toronto to puerto vallarta. Understandable, these things happen. However, they did not contact us, they simply cancelled the booking and it took me to call them to find out. 24 hours later, I booked with them again (was still the best price and I hoped the first experience was just a fluke error). When I saw the credit card purchase go through my bank I called because I received no e tickets. It doesn't feel good to pay thousands and have no ticket! Well, even though I paid for the tickets with edreams, the airline cancelled my tickets because edreams still had not cancelled the previous booking so the airline thought I had booked the same flight twice. When edreams received the cancellation, you may think they contacted the airline, to sort out the problem, after all this company charges a service fee...we expect some service! But, instead, edreams issued a refund to my credit card and STILL no contact. You think you have your dream vacation booked and they just cancelled and didn't even tell us!!!! I found out only because I called to find out when I would receive my etickets. The answer was, never, you were cancelled and refunded. If course, this company is in Spain and we are in canada, so the refund will take who knows how long to be seen by us, who can not book another flight without the refund of those funds. So, I sit and wait and hope that by the time the refund is credited there are still affordable flights for my vacation which is supposed to now be 18 days away :(. Oh...and don't think my complaints can be heard by anyone other than the customer service dept. because they are not allowed to transfer my call to a higher dept..'that's our policy'. Too bad their policy is not to contact customers before cancelling their dream holidays, or making this error feel better by dealing with the customer to rectify the situation. I have NEVER been so disappointed in my life with any company! Irresponsible and devastating service. Don't put your dreams in their hands.
