Regarding my missing iphone

Respected Sir,

2nd july i have travelled from new York to Hyderabad by Etihad air lines .Once i reached home i observed that my iphone5 was missing from my bag .In that specific bag i observed that airlines security check happened and they left a transportation security administration letter in that bag and i am 100% confident that i kept my phone in that bag only.I am really appreciate if you take any action on this one.

Excess Baggage

Hello,

I Recently flew Etihad Airways from Manchester Airport to Melbourne. On Check in myself and my Mum had 2 Suitcases, 1 small case and a backpack. We thought that we were entitled to 2 pieces of checked baggage each as we were on the inbound flight but this was not the case. We were subsequently charged 139 Pounds excess baggage to check the small case which we were not happy about but though we had no other options.

When we we made it through to the boarding gate we were very annoyed to see at least 20 economy passenger had carry on baggage bigger and heavier than ours, some with multiple pieces of hand baggage.

When I contacted Etihad to find out why we we charged when we could have clearly taken our small case on as hand luggage they have denied our request for a refund.

I contacted the airline through social media and asked them to explain why we were not told we could take the case on as carry on and they have simply come back and said they will not refund our money and the matter is now closed.

They have failed to explain why we were discriminated against however they will no longer correspond with me.

Is there anything I can do?
