Tramadol physcription

I went online in October to renew some of my medications. Was told they would notify my Doctor to get a new physcription for my Tramadol Hcl Tabs 50mg. On November 13 th, I went online to check because script was suspossed to be sent to my Doctor's office for approval. Called Doctor's office to tell them I had talked to Express Scripts and the Doctor's office said they did not recieve it!
Asked the doctors office to re-sent of November 15th.
On November 17th checked online and it said Waiting for Doctor's Office Review! Called Doctor's office again and they said they would call and within a week I should have it.
Went online November 23rd to Express Scripts to find the Tramadol had been CANCELED!
Called Express Scripts again and this time insisted I talk to a pharamist. I was told the DEA number and NIP number were not on the script. Went to my Doctor's office with all my papers on Monday November 25th and sat there while the office manager called to get this taken care of. I left there thinking all was fine only to find out this morning November 26th that they will not fill my script for the 180 pills because it's been too long between scripts! It was not my FAULT! Didn't matter! Express Scripts says it's because of my insurance. I have Medicare and Tricare for life! I fail to see how they have screwed up my medication. I was told to have my doctor write the script for More doses of the Tramadol next time! So this is Freaking Stupid and I am going to complain to anybody and everybody! Because you can't get it right I get to suffer!

Meds Lost In Transit DHL to USPS & to me

Since 2/15/19 Express Scripts has lost our medications twice in transit to our home. There seems to be a major problem with DHL to USPS on Friday afternoons. The tracking stops over the weekend and then the package is returned to NJ to be reshipped out again. This was fine with the fish oil but not the second RX for Eliquis. Both required a Pre-Approval which delayed the initial shipment then the shipment was lost in transit. Express Scripts needs to look into why the packages are getting lost and do the corrective action necessary. They want to make a note in the file but I prefer doing something about it. Until it is corrected I doubt I will be recommending Express Scripts to anyone.

Express Scripts Delivery not Received

My Dr. sent in my prescription on 4/2/2018. I called about it on 4/13/2018. I was told by express scripts that the RX was not received so I had them send it again. I received a phone call a few days later saying that Express Scripts had attempted to contact my DR and that it had been more than 24 hrs since they had contacted her. I followed up I believe it was 4/26/18 and I was told that my medicine was delivered on 4/20/2018. I never received this medicine and made a 53.00 copay on 4/18/2018. I was told that they could request another Rx from my Dr. and expedite it but that I would have to pay another 53.00 copay. That is insane, I didn't receive the first package and asked if there was anyway I could have it delivered as a signature required in order to deliver it and I was told no, that it wasn't possible. So, what am I to do? I'm screwed out of 53.00 and there is nothing saying that if I did reorder it again that the very same thing would/could happen again. This is very poor customer service and I will do what I can about contacting someone to register a complaint. This is not a good way to do business for anyone but express scripts. Why can I not have it delivered either requiring a signature or that it be held at the hub and I pick it up?
I would like for someone to help me resolve this. This is no way for Retirees/Veterans to be treated.

delayed enrollment

a new pharmacy attempting to enroll with express scripts. First, they CHARGE you to enroll (no other prescription benefit manager does that), then they tell you it will take 10 weeks...well, actually they tell you that but when you submit the paperwork, then tell you "up to 21 days". When I call to check status, they are working on apps received a month ago. After approval, they MAIL you contracts to sign and mail back before you are in system. It is a completely NON provider friendly system, they are completely unconcerned or, in my estimation, making absolutely NO attempt to be more efficient (their staff just says "i'm sorry" like they have already said it 300 times today...and completely without indication that they really care or will or can do anything to change it. They are sorry ok. In my opinion, probably antitrust given that Express Scripts has to contract with retail pharmacies that are competing with their own mail order. And the government seems COMPLETELY unconcerned about this lack of consumer option or the roadblocks put up to impede competition. The consumer suffers when these PBMs have the power to contract, slow contracting, and even set prices. You think they pass cost savings on to consumer? Yeah, right....

not getting scripts

Last year my husband could not get his heart medicine, express scripts blamed it on the Drs. office. Now I am having the same problem. My Drs. office has sent them an order at least a half dozen times in the last two weeks, it still has not been processed. Express scripts blames it on the Drs. office. Any suggestions?

fill prescriptions even if i do not order any meds

Two times in the last two months express scripts have filled medecines that are duplicates. Then they tell me its my fault and that I have to pay for them anyway. What kind of crap is that. You mess up and I have to pay for it. This is total nonsense. My regular pharmacy would not fill a duplicate they would put it on file. I should not have to pay for something I did not order, much less something that I already recieved.

fill prescriptions even if i do not order any meds

When patients bring in scripts to the pharmacy, and do not tell us NOT to fill it, we fill it. We do not have time to look at each patient's profile to see if you have a script for the same drug. We have other patient's to care for. You should have your doctor write on the script HOLD before he faxes it.
