Forfilment of Prescription

Firstly, I want to make it clear, under Tricare there is only one Dermatologist in my area accepting patients, and secondly, I have no choice but to use Express Scripts. I have been receiving the same medication for years on a 3 month supply basis, however, my Dermatologist sent my new prescriptions to Express Scripts without stating a 3 month supply delivery option, as I asked. Today, I had to pay the same amount for 30 pills instead of 90 pills. I called Express Scripts and was told this wasn't there problem and they could do nothing for me. I called my Dermatologist and asked them to reprocess with the 3 month supply option, they said they would. As I continued to think about the Express Scripts processing, I thought I would call again. This time I was told Express Scripts could do nothing, they process 250,000 prescriptions a day and cannot look at how prescriptions were filled previously.
The above brought to my attention, how many times a day do you do this to patients? I believe that every patient should be treated as if they are the only one. I also believe prescriptions could be processed using common sense and an email could be sent beforehand to prevent overpayment for medications. Under the Express Scripts policy, I would have to pay $636 vs $212, or $424 more than necessary. I am able to voice my opinion and can afford to pay for this medication -- my main concern is for individuals who are on a fixed income who do not understand the process.
My husband and I were honored to serve for 22 years and expect better than this for ourselves and fellow military members. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

medication

I just was speaking to someone about an order that was not received Nifedipine 60 mg. that I could not understand a word he was
saying. This is America for god's sake learn ENGLISH. This order was very important, because my husband was leaving the
country to go to work. Had to have his medication. They cancelled the order, because this moron said he did not want him to
have to much Medication. Unbelievable, he has to have 90 days supply because he is gone for that length of time. I finally had to
go thru the CVS because I could not get them to send his meds. I will no longer deal with express script again. They are a rip off
and a bunch of morons that do not know what they are doing.

END OF STORY. Get your company streighten out.

Robocalls and Rude Service

Just returned the 6th robocall for a refill of medication that is due in December. Asked the rep to have the robocalls stopped and she was very belligerent. Said the only way is to take me out of the call system. Asked to speak to supervisor and she hung up on me. Hate dealing with this "pharmacy" that is supposed to save $$ but incurs a rediculous amount of overhead in duplicative robocalls. Again, HATE dealing with this company.

Walgreens

I am required to use Walgreens to fill the prescriptions I don’t fill through express scripts. Walgreens is a nightmare. Every (and I mean EVERY) prescription I have had filled there has either taken several days to get, has been the wrong price, has not been filled etc. Today I received a text saying my prescription was ready for pickup. I went to the counter and was told it was ready for pickup but I could not pick it up as they didn’t know the price. Previously our required pharmacy was CVS. Every dealing I had with them went smoothly, was filled promptly, the pharmacist was available for questions and I was treated courteously. PLEASE...could you switch our required pharmacy back to CVS. Thank you.

drug substitution made me ill

The first time I used express for a prescription refill (in order to save money with my new insurance plan) they sent me a thyroid medication that wasn't my usual - synthroid instead of L Thyroxine which I had been using for over 20 years. I called and spoke with a representative at express to voice my concern, having read that sometimes changing drug company formulas can cause upset in the body. Though I was experiencing some odd symptoms after taking the drug for a week, the rep assured me that I was actually getting the better product; a name brand instead of the generic. I wasn't satisfied but decided to give it a go anyway. Last week I submitted a script renewal - a couple of days later a pharmacist from express called to check with me about the dairy allergy that's listed in my med record. I confirmed that I do indeed have a dairy allergy - she then informed me that synthroid has lactose in it as a filler. Since taking the synthroid I've been experiencing headaches, increased peripheral neuropathy in my hands, increased aches and pains, though I have had a suspicion it was from the meds, but had no idea that a pharmacy would send me something I was allergic to!. The pharmacist assured me she'd have the new prescription out to me asap - that was over a week ago. I am stuck with either taking the med that is causing me harm, or not taking the med, which will cause me harm. Can I sue these incompetent dangerous fools?

Medicine Operation-Extremely POOR

This is the third time my husband and I are trying Express Scripts. This is the third time we are experiencing Extremely BAD Service. This is the third time our medicines were not executed when placed. We put in for our medicine a month ago. Last week I received a call on my phone concerning my husband's medicine only. The agent would not discuss his medicine with me, it's my account and I placed the order, plus both of us has excess to the account. Never did she say, my meds were not processed either. I logged onto the account only to see that my meds were shipped out 1/15/2018, that were placed, the middle part of December. I hate it when I can take my medication on time. This is the worst operation I've ever experienced. PLEASE, I'm begging you to TRAIN your staff to act accordingly in Processing your CLIENTS Medicines......THIS IS A SERIOUS HEALTH ISSUES. It could be a issue of LIFE and DEALTH. I'm not understanding why it's so hard for you all to get this together. I really HATING EXPRESS SCRIPTS POOR SERVICES.
1. delayed orders
2. no notification of issues
3. long waits on calls
4. No case number or information of notification that your case was actually submitted when called in.

THIS IS A SAD SAD OPERATION!
I"M A VERY DISAPPOINTED CUSTOMER
P.S. Supervisor Agent E74369 put in my complaint too.

Prescriptions

I take four prescriptions a month. Called to check on the cost for them when I found out how high my deductible is with my new job. A prescription I was given in the ER last year was $2 per pill, but a 30 day supply at the pharmacy will cost me $100. A serious stomach medicine, they will not even carry for me and the one that I need the most (for pain), the dr. sent TWO PA's for and they still want me to do an appeal, which takes away more time from my dr. to fight these stupid folks. Why do they have more authority than a doctor with years of training and experience that I've seen since 2007?? Why can they deny something? Is this the way of the "new" insurance ways, to deny everyone everything to save money? I'm already going to have to pay more for my prescriptions b/c of the HIGH deductible, but why/how can they make an arbitrary decision that affects my life. WHAT IDIOTS!!

trying to kill me

mid year through my companies yearly contract w/express scripts and they stopped coverage on my medicine. my dr. tried to get a medical necessity through them but they refused and said for me to take a very dangerous but covered alternative that the dr. will not prescribe. (I use butrans patch and they will cover fentanyl) this has left me in a bad way because I have digestive disorder and pills don't get properly absorbed in my system. so now I have a prescription insurance co. that won't cover my medicine any longer and a doctor that can only prescribe me medicine my insurance won't cover and I can't afford. to add insult to injury I just read an article in a St. Louis Mo. paper saying express scripts is making it harder for people to get their pain meds to cut down on addiction and overdoses, so they try and force my dr. to prescribe me the most dangerous drug on the market instead of one that was safer and helping me? it's all about the money as usual. someone needs to do something about this.

Incomplete emaill

Received a prescription for a one time use for prep for a procedure from my Doctor. I had done this procedure once every 3 years for the past 15 and always used my local pharmacy to fill the prescription which the copay was $10. I decided to use Express Scripts to maybe save the govt and myself a little money, usually Express Scripts is slightly cheaper. I received an email from Express Scripts saying the RX had been received and would be filled soon, but no pricing would be available until the RX shipped, that should have been a warning sign. Late last night received another email from Express Scripts saying it had shipped and my copy would be $20, twice as much as usual. Called Express Scripts to complain that maybe in the first email, pricing would have been nice from a Customer Service standpoint. After talking with 3 individuals (2 Supervisors), who offered no help, I asked to be connected to the survey and I was told it would be done, got a dial tone very shortly thereafter.

Suggest checking out the cost prior to them filling out the order or don't use Express Scripts at all.

Why can't I get my medicine at local pharmacy but express scripts

This company is making every ones life hell by controlling by making all insurance companies to make them as only option.its bull shit that all insurance companies and corporate culture go with them and they nor government or senators don't see pain that patients go through. I pray that these people look into this issue and make express script go bankrupt so everyone can take breath.
