I do have case with this lawfirm. I did receive a summons and had 30 days to answer. Then I went to court and was told by the attrney to send in $80.00 dollors/monthly. Well I did, then I lost my job and could not send in the $80.00 anymore so I called the Attorney James Grubel and he advised me to send in what I can. So I was sending in $20.00/monthly. Then all of sudden I got all my money orders back from this debt collection office farrell and seldin stating they could not accept my payments. Well I did go to court and I did present my case, in which I showed proof that I'm a single father with a 4 year old with autism. I did talk to James Grubel again, he advised me to send in $20.00/monthly and he would send in the paperwork authorizing this for me. Well I did send in my payment. Then 2 weeks later it got sent back because the James Grubel did not send in the paperwork and I was in default I told Mrs. Law at farrell and seldin this is what I was advised to do by James Grubel, she stated he never sent in the paperwork. I then got a notice in the mail that the case was dismissed. OK, then 1 week later I got another letter from the courts that farrel and seldin re-opened the case and filed for garnishement against me. This company will use all the power they have to destroy someone life and not provide for their son with a disabilty like I told Mrs. Law. I thought if you pay something towards your debt they could not harass you like this company has made me stressed out and trying to figure out how I can provide the therapy my son needs weekly, plus his schooling at autism center. I hope one day there is class action lawsuit on this awful so called lawfirm(debt colletor). I live for my son, but in their eye's it all about money. I thought this was America. Its not my fault that we are in an economic crisis, please shut them down (farrell & seldin)
