There was a guy whom i met online. and after we've known each other for a couple of month. he said to me that he will sent me gifts cause it's his birthday on Sunday (August 14, 2022). I told him that i don't like gifts. and then he insisted that he will give me a gifts. that it was already suspicious, but i did not mind at all. and then i decided to give my address and so with my contact number.
One day. he sent me a bill. i was so curios in the bill on why is there 2,000 peso for the payment. but, i did not mind that one.
The next day the fastway courier sent me a message saying i will be paying 2,000 pesos for the delivery charge and also to the custom taxes. i was so shocked and say in my mind (does it look like in the other country that the receiver will be the one to pay the charges?) and again. i did not mind that one and yet i pay the 2,000 pesos via gcash. and then after i paying the 2,000 pesos. 8 minutes after he message me again and said that he was still in the airport and the luggage was scanned and was opened the custom police and discovered a huge amount of money, treasurers of gold and diamond, necklace earring and wristwatch. he said that the sender should comply the 3 documents so that there will be no police or issues again. if the sender cannot comply the documents. i need to pay 10,000 pesos to avoid the police arrest.
like how can they arrest me i'm not the one who sent the package. and in the first place. it should be checked to the customs in their country before sending to another country.

I know that i cannot get back my money. but this is for everyone to be more cautious especially if that person give you something expensive and you don't know that person very much.
it is also a lesson that i learned to trust your gut feeling.
