Two years ago, I took a chance on Felix, who was offering a free pendant to enclose the gold panned. While I never received the pendant (even after 2 calls), I thought that the value of the panned gold was nice. Still haven't received received the pendant.

A few months later, I took the opportunity to buy some sort of "end of year" promotion. Generally, as a disabled American veteran, I don't have loads of money to do this, but my father had passed away, and thought this would be one last bit of fun "together". I paid over $400 for the chance too give Felix an opportunity to visit upon me his unique type of customer service. I had not received enough gold (panned 3x by me, once by my wife) to fill in the diameter of a US dime.

I kept myself in check, though considerabley angry, and quite capable of unleashing many choice words, I both emailed and called his organization. No response by Felix was ever made or attempted. I called several times, left messages. I have never been contacted.

Now why, 2 years later? I am looking for an opportunity to spend (I understand, NOT invest) some time armchair panning as a long recovery surgery has been scheduled. I can't seem to find anyone with his type of offer.

Am I being ridiculous? Probably. If I do order, I will certainly expect the same kind of stunted customer service, nor do I expect any promotional item (if any) to be filled as promised, but I do hope that I will be as pleasantly surprised as with my first purchase.

I don't think the individual or company is a scheister or a fly by night organization. I just believe they are just too busy to offer quality customer service. Lastly, I do understand that with this type of panning, I will never get rich,. I know, too, that the dirt and thus concentrates represent what comes from the earth, a soil sample, if you will. But really? $400 for less than a dime grouping of gold?
