I had ordered for a rakhi on some dry fruit on 5th August 2014 for my brother living in Ahmedabad from Mumbai on Ferns and Petals website. The Order no 9873594 was confirmed by the company where the date of delivery chosed by me was 9 August as i wanted this to be delivered a day before Rakhi on the 10th of august 2014. To my utter dismay, the Rakhi was not delivered till the evening of 9 August. I called the customer care helpline on 10th morning and was assured of the delivery on 10th August any how. It is so unfortunate that today while i am writing this email it is noon of 11th August, and the Rakhi has not yet been delivered . On speaking to the helpline I was informed that the they are unable to establish contact with thier marketing team and they will send me an update shortly. I requested for this complaint to be escalated to the senieor manager , I was kept on hold for 20 minutes but no response. It is so embarassing that such a routine business takes more than a week to deliver. If the sales team is not competent enough for execution of orders, having such a company run is pointless if they cannot send the rakhi on the rakhi day. It clearly shows how inefficient, crappy service is being provided to so many people in the country. I have to suffer a loss of reputaton and so much embarassment as my Rakhi to my only brother was not delivered on time.This is absolutely unacceptable. If you cannot deliver products on time then you do not have any right to display timely delivery etc on your website. I am very regretful for choosing Ferns and Petals and will never use their services again.
