FRAUD

On 4/25/17 in the evening I went online to get insurance quotes from different companies. When I applied on the freeway insurance online, I was then contacted by several companies. It was a West Covina branch. Name of agent Alex. He asked me for all my information. Including my banking information. Reassured me they would not use my personal information. He started off at 100
. down reasonable rates. But kept changing the details with more information. It ended up being 1000. a year and 80 or more a month. I was frustrated and cannot pay that much! I then answered another incoming call from another insurance company. In the morning I woke up to find they had taken out 220. from my back account. NO paperwork! No authorization. I have called the customer service departments. For two days on my lunch after waiting 20 minutes or so first. All the response I am getting is you gave him the information. We do not charge back!!!!!! I am so angry that a company would blatantly lie, and brazenly take your hard earned money without your consent.!!!! I am frustrated and stressed out. I have yelped them and made a complaint with the California dept of Insurance. I do not know what else to do!

Unauthorized check cashed

I went into the office to add a car to my policy. Luz, the representative at the 17th Street office in Santa Ana, told me to leave a post-dated deposit check in the amount of $250.00. Although I told Luz the money would not be in the bank on 4/8/15, she said it was all right and to call accounting and have them hold the check until 4/10/15, the day the funds were available. I called accounting and they informed me that they cold not hold the check, they can only postpone ACH payments. I immediately went back to talk to Luz, and she apologized stating she did not know that accounting could not hold the check. She instructed me to come in the office on 4/10/15 and pay cash and she would notify accounting that I already paid. She also told me to put a stop payment on the check and Freeway would pay the charges. I brought the statement in showing what I paid the bank to stop the check and she then told me to deduct that amount from my next payment I came in and paid the cash less the check charges on 4/10/15. Once accounting found out that I stopped payment, they sent the check to Fedchex, a collection agency and did not call me to advise. Fedchex then charged me $25.00 and the bank chargd me $58.00, plus took $5.00 from my account for a total of $88.00. They also took $250.00 out of my account. I had already paid the balance of the down payment and was charged twice. I went inot the office and spoke to the office manager, Jesse. He promised they would refund my money overnight. Once I left, I got a call from Francisco in accounting stating they will pay my check charges, but will not pay the $250.00 because they did not receive it from Fedchex. I called Fedchex and they said they paid Freeway the $250.00 and there was nothing I could do, and Freeway needed to be the ones to call. I call approximately 10 times to speak with either Francisco, Jesse, or Luz, and none of them would take my call. Today I left a message for them to call and provided the number of Fedchex that I called. They have not yet responded. Yesterday another representative told me to dispute it at my bank, so I did that as well. I explained to the fifth representative that I needed my $250.00 since it was my rent money. I have not heard from anyone as of yet. My next step will have to be to file a small claims that may take months. I will have to charge Freeway for the filing fees and cost of representation. Meanwhile, I have to pay my regular premium of $187.00 within 10 days. I do not write bounced checks and this makes me look bad at my bank. I requested a letter from Freeway for my bank stating that this was their error. I have not received anything. Nothing was overnighted and no more calls have been received from Francisco, Jesse, or Luz. Jesse told me yesterday tht there wasnothing else he could do and to call Francisco. Francisco uses whatever representative that answers to deliver messages to me.

Mario Lopez seem to be very helpful at first...Upon sending my policy for me to sign it was in Spanish....Then he said it's English as well....When I looked the company was a Hispanic company in which he said that's a company they worked with....Looking over the policy I didn't agree with the terms it was basic liability....When I said no I don't want this policy they tried to encourage me to sign the documents and they would do a cancellation......I told them no and Mario Lopez hung up the phone....Meanwhile they Debited my account $212 dollars... When I called them back they said it would take up to ten days to get my money back....I spoke to Lidia Lopez suppose to be a supervisor and she said she needed the policy number...I asked her how could it be a policy # when I didn't sign anything....She as well said it would need to voided out...I asked her VOID WHAT? This was a quote and why did you debit my card when there was no signed agreement......This company has no morrow value and pounces on the consumer......BE AWARE!!!!!!
