My French door refrigerator was purchased December 2012.
Approximately a month ago when I closed the doors the interior lights stayed on causing the refrigerator to get hot and melting
the inside above the lightbulbs.

I’ve tried calling Frigidaire but of course all customer service is busy. The recording tells you to go to Frigidaire.com

If I didn’t remove the lightbulbs when I did this could have caused a fire.

I purchased my French door Frigidaire refrigerator Model #FGHG2344MP3 in December 2012.
Approximately 1-2 months ago the refrigerator was not as cold as it should be.

I tried to troubleshoot it myself! I called up an appliance repair guy who told me to unplug the refrigerator let the lightbulbs cool down. When I removed the light cover the inside above the cover had melted.

The problem was when the fridge was closed the lights never went out. This is definitely a fire hazard!
I tried calling Frigidaire and all I get is that their customer reps are busy and to go to Frigidaire.com.
