Student loans

I failed my first class and also cashed my stipend before I failed it and understood that I would have to pay that money back. I then retook the class again and was charged for it. I’m that’s very understandable because the same thing happened to me while I was in community college . I got the statement about it in the mail and was cool with it . Now I also received another statement in the mail like two weeks later saying I owed 5674 dollars which really blew my mind because I only failed ONE class and retook it so I didn’t understand where this was coming from . I went to my online financial hub account and saw that they took out loans for my next TWO classes that I haven’t even had a chance to take yet . I think that’s highway robbery and that’s really not fair. How can they take loans out in my name without my permission????? I haven’t even enrolled into my next two classes let alone know what they are even about. I’ve been calling and calling to get some insight on this information but no one will answer . They keep sending me emails saying I have a credit on my account for my next class and their ready to get me enrolled but I haven’t because I’m afraid they will charge me for those next two classes again even though they already took the loans out for it. Can someone PLEASE explain this to me if I’m wrong ??? I honestly need some answers.

Financial Aid

I currently go to GCU and they explained to me that I could borrow only when I need to borrow . I asked all questions that I needed to ask and was ensured that I had a clear understand of how the loans worked . I received a stipend during my first class but unfortunately I failed it due to being a single mom and working late hours. I then took action by finding a different job so I can do my school work. I had to retake the class and was charged for it and I’m like cool that’s understandable. They sent me a statement which was 1860 and I wasn’t too upset about it because I had to retake the class and I knew I was going to be charged for it . Now what I DONT understand is that they went ahead and took the loans out for my name for my next two classes and I’m not even enrolled in them yet. I just finished my retake but for some odd reason I owe 5,279 dollars for my NEXT two classes. I still understand that because I’m taking one class at a time and I shouldn’t be charged that money until I take those classes right ? Therefore if I fail and have to retake THEN I should have to pay for them right ? That’s how it worked when I was in community college. I am resigning from this school because they putting me in debt and I haven’t even touched those two course yet. That’s why I’m so hesitant to even apply for classes because I have a feeling they gone take those loans again even though they have already taken them out. Can someone explain the process to me if I’m wrong .
