$150 Deposit
Georgia Power sent a notice to my address stating a deposit in the amount of $150.00 has been billed to my account. Note there is a $150.00 deposit on the account which they can’t apply. The deposit will be reflected on my next bill with the outrageous summer rates. I used payment arrangements because I get paid at the end of the month not by the due date the 16th. Unfortunately, payment arrangements are considered as late rather you pay it or not. My service hasn’t received an interruption since I established an account with them in 2009. Our family is going through a hardship in which it’s hard to afford double rates in the summer. We used less power last year compared to this year. I spoke with a representative whom ask me did I read my bill. I received a notification by email which they bill a late charge. I don’t understand how they can bill late charges, offer payment arrangements, and require a deposit. The representative told me to apply for assistance which they don’t cover Georgia Power deposits. I guess when you’re in a situation nothing is possible. I wonder if the deposit it’s offsetting the $75 refund credits we received from the failed project. This is wrong.

This is wrong, I know God will make a way somehow.
