I am a professional photographer that travels a lot (based in L.A and London). I work mainly with Nikon (D4s, D810).
I bought few lenses of of Get It Digital. Since they do not show the lenses on the website, I actually talked to a representative who tried to sell me a protection plan and explained that the equipment was imported and that the plan will cover me if anything happened. I am familiar with Nikon and I KNOW that if there was a problem with the equipment you find it right out of the box. The warranty that Nikon provides is rubbish anyhow so I was happy to pay less and declined the up-sale.

It took the damn package 12 days to get to Los Angeles! Therefore, I had to borrow lenses from a colleague. When I called to complain about it, some person told me that I should have expedited the shipping- Why no one did offer me this option.

I asked for the manager and he promised me that the lenses were in stock and apologized explaining company's policies guarantee 14 days for delivery. Whatever…i got a good price so I did not want to return the package.

My conclusion – Nikon for great price, slow delivery – if you need it fast you have to expedite shipping (not free)
