No Holiday Inn Express at Address

This is the manager of Holiday Inn Express Calhoun, GA You are selling a hotel on your site that does not exist as Holiday Inn Express. It is a Baymont. You are misrepresenting us and this needs to change immediately. AGAIN, this site you are selling is no a HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS at 125 Hampton Dr. Calhoun, GA. We are a BRAND NEW property at 135 Hampton Dr., Calhoun, GA.

Cancellation

Refs. R 943164687 and C8650924

I would like to request a refund based on compassionate grounds. I was informed this morning that my daughter in law has been hospitalized with a severe pregnancy risk. We have had to c change our flights and hotel bookings. However, your company was unabld to do so as they adherred strictly to your cancellation policy. Your policy statescthat after 10:00 am this morning I was not within the policy and that a full cancellation fee applied. One nights accomodation. Approx0 $192.00 can. I wish to request that consideration be given under compassionate grounds for a full refund as your reps stated that the Hotel refused to accept a cancellation without a full fee being applied. I asked for a copy of the request from your reps, they declined. I would like to reiterate that your company consider my request for a full refund under compassionate grounds. I was outside of the cancellation timeline by only three hours. This was beyond my controll.

Ripoff

YOU ARE AT YOUR OWN RISK OF HAVING YOUR BOOKING CANCELLED WITHOUT NOTICE IF YOU USE THIS COMPANY. I am not kidding, this company left me hanging after they'd already taken my money for the reservation. I get to the hotel and the manager says "Oh, getaroom.com has cancelled your reservation without reason." Now just imagine getting off a redeye to hear that about a room you already paid for. One thing that you CANNOT say after you read this is that "Well, nobody told me." You can't say that at all. This company is ran absolutely horribly, they are inattentive, and you will risk not having a room at all if you have the displeasure and unluckiness of having to contact them for a room. If you're third party website (expedia, travelocity, etc) sends you to them, cancel your itinerary immediately without delay and go with someone else. Better to start to the refund/reimbursement process as soon as possible, rather than delaying and having them get the upper hand, CANCEL THEM IMMEDIATELY.There are many other services out there who are about their business and will get you a room WITHOUT screwing you over in the process. Do not read this and be a dummy and try to say "I WASN'T WARNED!"

Charged with no services rendered

On the day of 7-30-2016 I made reservations with getaroom.com, They charged my credit card in the amount of 302.52, They confirmed the reservation and gave me a confirmation # R612989385 for the Hotel Circus Circus Hotel, Casino and Theme Park. The transaction took place at 7:24pm via phone, Arrived at Hotel on or about 8:25 after waiting in line for about 30 min the hotel clerk Rolondo, said there were no reservations in there system and said I needed to contact the third party company and ask them to input it the information. I called customer service department for getaroom.com @ 1-800-355-9742 and spoke to a representative and explained my situation he then proceeded to gather the information to pull it up on there system and then placed me on hold and disconnected my call. I attempted again a different rep answered and the same situation they disconnected my call. Never was able to communicate long enough anyone to help me. I then sent an escalated email at [email protected] @ 11:56 the same night a return email was sent and said Your request #936840 has been received and is being reviewed by our support staff. I am requesting this company give me a full refund I is against the law to charge some on for services no rendered this is fraud. I am also requesting some one from this department to give me a call to help me resolve this issue my number is 909-320-1978, email is [email protected] my name is Adrian. I thank you in advance for attention to this serious matter.
