My air conditioner stopped working. I called Goettl. It took them about an hour, and they came back and said the fuses were blown. They charged me $333.00 for two fuses, [pictured] (I wonder how much at Home Depot?) and after I paid them, they came back and said the fuses would not fix the problem, at which time they tried to sell me a $3,500.00 condenser unit. I am elderly, disabled, and living on a fixed income so I obviously could not do that. So basically, they charged me $333.00 to NOT fix my air conditioner. If you know you are not going to be able to fix the unit, the most you should be charging is a service call.

I am elderly and disabled, and living on a fixed income, so I was obviously unable to do that. So basically, they replaced two fuses they knew would not fix the problem and charged me $333.00 to NOT fix my air conditioner. Attached is a picture of the fuses they charged me $333.00 for; I wonder how much I would have paid for these at Home Depot? If you know you can't fix the problem, the most you should charge for is the service call.
