The lids allow food particles to remain after washing, I clean them the best I can but it's impossible to get them clean, makes me sick to think about. I don't use the lids, can't afford to buy a new set, different brand if I could. I was worried I could get sick and a possibility I have. Don't know what to do about this situation, hoping you can help.

The cookware set has been very nice until I noticed the rim of the lids allows food particles to remain after washing. I clean them the best I can but I am afraid of getting sick if I haven't already. I can't afford a new set and really need to use the lids. What am I going to do?
