Very rude and arrogant landlord, very high rents, the landlord adds rents every year without renovation and cold apartment in the winter. The rate of theft too has increased in 2211 Gold Street Saint-Laurent H4M 1S6 with people breaking in your car to get stuff. DO NOT LIVE HERE. The hallways stink and smell like crab.

Apparently the landlord charge me for amount of rent. When i had sublet my apt. To someone else. Plus that it was the janitro who agreed to find someone to take over. So when the day came for me to leave( they kick me out a week before) the new person moved in. And now the lawyer called and asked me i own them money. So i dig some research. Apparently the landlord is a scammer. Steals your deposits and never give it back. DO NOT LIVE AT THIS ADDRESS 2211 RUE GOLD. Never. Please do yourself a favour. And plus rent is so high. And its far from everything.

I lived in the Villagetree building and HATED the experience. (2211 rue gold, Saaint-Laurent, Qc) The landlord is unattainable and the janitor is clueless when it comes to reaching him or taking action on a matter. The heating is meant to be included and doesn't work (or they just don't turn it on) Many other tenants have made complaints to la régie du logement because of the lack of heating/hot water throughout the building and due to other circumstances such as the water being shut off for 3 days without notice.

I had complained to the janitor because VERY little water was coming out of the bath/shower and this complaint was ignored for more than a month. I then came across some more bad luck when a pipe burst in the appartment above me, so my appartment was flooded with black, moldy water and after 2 weeks of more compaints to the janitor, no action was taken to renovate the appartment, nor to correct the issue. Along with other belongings, my matress was damaged and the place was unsanitary. Attempted to send legal notices to the landlord and management and was ultimately unable to reach anyone. With the guidance of la régie, I ultimately abandoned the appartment and never heard from them again.

I have never had such an awful experience renting...

On top of all this, the rent was rather high for the area and appartment in question. (In no way worth it)
