Accurate Web Information and Inconsistent Customer Service Representatives

I was booking a flight on the Government Vacation Rewards (GVR) and it gave me a "booking failed" remark after I entered my credit car information on March 28, 2018. After a couple of days on April 2nd, I tried booking again for a 2 more times and got the same experience. I reached out to GVR customer agent; I was told that my credit card was the issue. So I decided to talk to my bank, but it was the end of business hours. I came up with using the credit card to buy at a local store, and the card that used for booking the flights worked perfectly.
The next day, I called GVR again and was referred to talk to a flight specialist. I was on the line waiting for more than 30 minutes, nobody answered so I hang up. I was desperate to book my flight because I know the price would keep changing. I kept monitoring the same flights that I tried to book and they were still showing on their website as available. For the fourth time, I attempted to book my flight with another airline showing on their website and go the same "booking failed" remark. When I checked my bank account online, there were 4 pending charges from the the attempted bookings. I figured that the issue was not my card the issue at all. I started feeling mad for the inaccuracy and trickery I experienced from their web site. I called GVR on April 5th citing all my experiences, the agent reiterated that my card was the reason for failed booking. I replied "Okay, it's fine. Help me book a flight". I pointed a flight that I wanted, but she said that it's not available. She picked a different flight instead and it was booked successfully. I refused to pay the the service charge. Then I told the agent that I used the same credit card for all the attempted booking. She reasoned out that the Airlines do not update flights on time and it made me even madder because if that was the case, then it meant the flights they were posting were all fake! And I also checked the next day that the flight refused to booked, it is in fact available for a higher price. I called them once again looking to give a complete feedback for my experience and I was given a promised that they will try to resolve their website issues. I saw this complaint board today and thought I would share my experience as well.
I paid a lot of money to these people and all I ended up getting is a bad services and lies!
Stay away from this scamming website!

No problems so far Resolved all issues

I have been a member for over 2 years and when I joined they talked fast, but I asked a lot of questions and I can talk just as fast and when I did not understand, I asked for supervisor. I am retired military and they gave me good points and perks for joining. We travel a lot and with sign up points (100,000) and traveling via air, hotels and rental cars, we had well over 200,000 points and called and got one heck of a deal on a 8 day cruise. Do your home work ask questions and do not get mad at them for doing something they explained or that you failed to hear. They put the cards on the table fast, but you can slow them down and understand all that is said. They are a good travel agent for retired military and working folks that like to travel. Travel agents are for traveling, so if you do not travel a lot do not get a travel agent that makes their living on selling vacations. They are fair and have resolved all issues we have ever had with them and are competitive in prices. You do have to join to get extra points, but they have to make money somehow and with these points you can get good deals!

RipOff

Like most, because this program was advertised under "AAFES" and "MWR" I thought that this program was legitimate, but it turns out that they are NOT!! I wanted to review a paper contract because the sales pitch was so pressuring, but I thought it was a better option than owning a timeshare and I thought that they would honor contracts made with military personnel. Especially since military personnel have such fluctuating schedules and we could be deployed at any moment. The charges are outrageous! I have yet to see an actual paper contract detailing the terms of the contract with MWR Government Rewards.

Does anyone know if the Inspector General or an attorney who is investigating this issue? Especially since they are using the terms "MWR" in their title advertising on "AAFES" website?
