bring back some old ones
Hallmark does show some very good, touching and emotional Christmas movies. But...as others have said, most are predictable. Some of the best ones you have shown have been OLD movies, that just disappear, never to be seen again.
James Garner as the dead billionaire who would leave his grandson the money if he could prove himself worthy and hardworking. THAT was a great story!
Gary Sinese whose dad worked for the wealthy at their winter retreats and fell in love with the woman he once knew as a small girl-who loved ice skating.
Mimi Rogers as the perfume counter saleslady who gave the boy the money to get his dead moms perfume just so it could seem like she was still there with him.
One odd, quirky movie was about the life of Artist Thomas Kinkade. His hometown, he, his brother and mom just scraping by, their house falling apart, their father a looney drunk and an old, famous artist named Glen, who lived in a barn on the family farm. The ending brings tears, for it was Glen who taught Tom how to Paint the Light.
Billy Ray Cyrus did a wonderful movie of a farmer who took in one of his sons friends. It showed what country life would be at Christmas time.My mom said it remided her of her childhood. SO MANY great movies-bring them back every now and then! WE SURE WOULD WATCH MORE!! And throw in a I Love Lucy Christmas show every now and then too!!!!
