CEILING FAN REMOTE NOT WORKING

I purchased a remote control Harbor Breeze fan and have to replace the remote and dimmer box once already and I need to purchase the second remote control and receiver AGAIN! This will be my 3 one for this fan. I am very upset. This obviously a defected product. Thank you
