Harbortouch supplied my mother with a credit card device for processing purchases at her small store. She returned the device promptly when she saw that it did not fit her needs. For the next 10 years, Harbortouch continued to withdraw money from her bank account and threatened her when she complained. She was afraid to close out the account. Harbortouch took a monthly withdrawal despite knowing that she had returned the device and was obviously aware that she was not using it for any purchases whatsoever. In fact, she closed down the store shortly after returning the equipment. I only discovered this when my mother's new caretaker brought it to my attention. This was not something that fell between the cracks. Harbortouch knew this information but took advantage of an aging woman. I find this incredible. When I called the company, they refused to speak with me. I wrote to them as my mother's attorney and they have not responded. If there are others out there with similar experiences, I will certainly take on all reasonable claims. If a class action is appropriate, we will put this in the works. Thank you.
