I had been going to Healthsource for over a year without incident and the treatment seemed to help my condition. I started to receive EOB's from my insurance company saying they would not pay anymore. I informed Healthsource of this situation, which from a business standpoint they should have noticed immediately. They told me that this happens all the time and that the doctor would take care of it. I was encouraged to schedule another appointment which I did. I scheduled several more appointments and then I decided to stop going because each successive EOB indicated that no payment would be made. I was told that I then owed Healthsource for these appointments. I have refused to make these payments because I immediately informed Healthsource that the insurance would not pay but that Healthsource said that this problem would be cleared up. From a business and an ethical standpoint I should have been refused service until the situation was cleared up. This would not have been a problem since this was not obviously an emergency room situation. I have been turned over to collection.
