Ingredients for Ketchup

Hi
I love ketchup and I just noticed they added high fructose corn syrup. It maybe that I never read the ingredients in decades but I know corn syrup was never an ingredient.
Why add it when its not needed?

Heinz- we we do not eat dogs in the US

Seen the Heinz latest commercial - just aired April 4, 2016 - a field full of wiener dogs looking wrapped in a what is supposed to represent a hot dog bun running towards people holding Heinz ketchup, mustard, pickle relish or whatever that one was, etc. The Heniz company has to be insane with this commercial. Hey Heinz - we don't eat dogs here in the U.S.!!!!
