It also happened to me. Went to Italy in August and now have 2 charges (1 in Dec 37$ and another in Jan for the same amount) from Hertz Italiana Spa Roma. I paid the first one, but when I saw the other one, I called to cancel my credit card and have the charges reversed. This is for sure a scam, will never again rent a car with Hertz when travelling to Italy.

Same with me. I rented a car from Hertz in Napoli for easter 2012. Now the charged me 36,30 Euros, without any notfication. I'm also thinking a canceling this transaction.

Did anyone of you do the same? What happend then finally?

My name is Shlomo Liberman and I rent a car on Rome Fiumicino Airport on19/04/12, Rental Agreement 34/3030343.
I paid for the rental a total of 245.56 Euros.
Hertz Italana debited my Credit Card on May twice 36.30 Euros for a total of 72.60 Euros without any explanation of such strange unauthorized use of my credit card.
Is there any possibility to receive information about those charges?
If not I will have to call my credit card to receive this money back.
