they are liars and thieves
HP is worthless. They have no tech support worth the time. They repeatedly send back computers broken, replace computers with broken computers make false promises and tell lies. They breach contract and have worthless laptops and more. I have lost years of my life believing in them and their ability to right wrongs only to have it turned against me and made into i am the bad person. Sure HP, you keep sending me broken laptops and then say you've given me too many replacements. This is really a waste of my time and I will trash you to everyone I meet and don't meet with the bold attempt of telling the truth of your terrible support, policy, and products as well as the lies and broken contracts without care. You are a thief of my time and life. You have really hurt me.

I've been using HP products, and their tech support, for many years now. I have no complaints, only praise. I am sorry to here about the financial problems HP seems to be having now.

Poor printer and poor service
Sent this email, and basically got "tests are just estimates" response: "After purchasing a HP Photosmart Plus, I noticed that the ink seemed to run out very quickly. Recently, I installed all new genuine HP cartridges, and started keeping count of every page I printed. I set it to fast, economical printing and printed 149 pages on that setting (very basic printing, nothing unusual) and 6 pages that had some, but little, color on them. At that point, my black ink ran out and my color ink all show half full. Your website estimates that the cartridge 564 Black will print 250 pages. Getting only 149 copies on the lowest setting possible is totally unreasonable, and I of course greatly regret purchasing an HP printer. But, I have, and I'm stuck with it for now. I feel that your ink cartridges are overpriced and mislabeled, and request that a change be made." I gave up on getting satisfaction on this, and kept on buying ink cartridges. Now, printer has an ink system failure; searched HP site for help with no luck, but finally linked to some instructions through another site. Didn't help, so tried to order a new print head. Not so easy...tried all sorts of ways to actually get to a point to order it. Once I entered my serial number, a message came up saying "unexpected error contact customer service." I sent a message through the site, but have little hope of getting a response since a message comes up after sending it that basically says "don't expect a personal response." I have read post after post on various websites about consumers having the exact problems I am having with this printer...so how does HP keep selling them? Is there any way to warn people?

Poor printer and poor service
An estimate is just that - an estimate. Try refilling the cartridges to cut down on cost.
