Machine Support, Lost configuration

After many years of wishing for an embroidery machine, I bought a Husqvarna Viking 600 E from Joanne's. Big Mistake! Four months of repeat issues with hoop errors, lockups, lost configuration and having to return machine 4 times to the store, I demanded a replacement. I finally got the first machine replaced after purchasing a new computer to prove it was not my computer, machine was serviced twice and I was informed that this machine was for low end embroidery work not what I was doing. I was embroidering napkins! The machine would not except the small hoop even though the pattern was less than 2x2 and the machine would lose the pattern configuration in the middle of the pattern without being interrupted. I loaded the required updates, work with some very rude support personnel, and dealt with a local manager that has permanently damaged my relationship with viking. The second machine worked for a short period of time but within weeks I saw the same problems. I had to stop using for 8 months due to 2 elderly parents needing full time care. I recently attempted to begin using it again and the very same problems only got worse. I am beyond any recourse, but want to warn others not only does the support lack resolutions, the product in my opinion is a big waste of over $1,000.00. I deep regret this purchase and I am posting the information in three National News Letters for groups I belong to. I feel the local sales group are greatly at fault as I explained up front that I want to be able to do large designs as well as the 4x4 and was assure this was the machine I would love. For months later I was told I needed at least the $2800.00 MACHINE TO BE SUCESSFUL by the regional manager and that the 600E was not a machine that they liked to sell. Ladies beware!
