Account paid in full - Debt collectors still contacting me
I was under administration and was finally able to pay off my debt in November / December 2019. My administration lawyers made payments to all relevant parties, and they sent proof of payments as well as the 4 U clearance certificate to them to show payment was made.
In October 2020, VVM started to contact me claiming that i owe Jets R196.72, i sent them all the relevant documents from my lawyers, I sent this via email and whatsapp. They would contact me on a weekly basis, never responded to my mails. On the 15th of October i received another mail requesting payment on my account for R352.70. I responded to the mail with all the previous mails, they told me that they require a certified Affidavit stating your dispute in full and a certified ID copy with 6 specimen signatures.
I advised them that i do not have the ID document for William's and that i cannot recall how to sign the William's signature.
When i contacted them on whatsapp i was advised that my 4U Clearance certificate signed by the court and my proof of payment.
My name has been cleared for 16 months and i am still been hounded.

Jets Account Payments
I'm so furious with Jets, I have paid up my Jets account end of November and just used it end of December to buy my son a few clothes for school. I have requested how many times for my statements which I didn't get not once and kept getting promised I would get it and yet I keep getting harassed and saying I'm in errears, when I just used the account recently. My understanding of being in errears means I should have missed a payment and I have not missed any payment. I really can't stand incompetent people and the company they work for. As furious as I am, trust me if I should get one more phone call I will be finding my way to the head office and addressing this pathetic company of their extremely poor service face to face. Get your facts in order before harassing clients unnecessarily.

Fees for funeral and club account not cancelled after a year still not done every after promises
I have tried for over a year to get the funeral plan cancelled with Jets this including the club account I had no debits for a period and all of a sudden the fees started debiting off the account again now increasing my balance. My daughter has committed to settle and close the account but we have been advised that we will need to wait until the reversal of the fees then close the account it’s been over two months and leaving the account opened only contributes to the service fees being charged we spoke to the consultant on Sunday after we settled and was informed we need to call Customer service regarding the reversal and closures.
Really bad service I need someone to sort this matter out please. I’m not working and could have decided to not pay but my even with my nothing I honored my commitments. It would be appropriated If Jets / Edcon can make good on theirs too.
