Fraudulent billing
I contacted Just Answer with a computer problem which they fixed for a nominal fee. Two months later I discovered two separate charges of 46 dollars each. When I contacted Just Answer to explain I NEVER authorized these charges they refused to refund them.
I contacted the Georgia Dept. of Consumer Affairs (I reside in GA) to register a complaint. They advised me to also contact California's Consumer Protection Division, District Office in San Francisco (where Just Answered is registered as a business--415 551-9595). When I relayed this information to Just Answers, they eventually refunded the full amount for which I was defrauded, although this took multiple contacts and I never received any accurate followup information (such as asking for a copy of the "agreement" I undertook or for Just Answer's business license #).
The bottom line is this: This company routinely practices billing fraud and tries to hide its involvement. No matter what it says, with legal pressure, Just Answer will refund its fraudulent charges. And finally, NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH JUST ANSWER unless you enjoy theft and lies.
