When booking a trip for my upcoming trip to Chicago for 4/4 1 night, i went to Kayak to find the best rate. They show the best rate as $211 thru booking.com and the "Kayak" button which also uses booking.com. But when i went to book it , the rate is actually higher since they are backing out "city taxes" - it shows in parantheses small print that an additional payment of $8.51 is required. They are misleading the consumer into believing that booking.com has a lower rate than everyone else when in fact they do not. What a scam.
