LG Compressor Bad

I have been attempting to get my refrigerator freezer repaired since the beginning of October. We purchased a home in a rural part of Colorado where there are NO repairman available to work on this product connected to Sears.Luckily we were able to get the food out when the unit stopped cooling. After 20 or more hours on the phone being put on hold, transferred to the wrong department etc I am beyond frustrated. My refrigerator model is 795.73157.610. This unit contains a LG Compressor. Obviously I am not the only one that has had issue with this unit. I know of class action lawsuits that are going on against Sears and LG just for this reason. WHen I found someone on my own to repair this unit, he has determined that the compressor is BAD. The refrigerator is at his shop now waiting on a solution from Sears. Instead of replacing it with another LG compressor that Sears wants to do, He will replace it with a Universal one part # TCA35911902. This will result in having to replace the control board part # EBR78940512. Also needing to be replaced is the dryer/filter part # 5851JA2007V. Total of parts per ASC Electronics in San Luis, CO is $565.00
His labor cost will be $575.00. So it is hard to swallow us having to pay for this repair when it is a well known fact that the LG Compressors that were installed were faulty. To replace it with the same thing is ridiculous! Look at the chat string on LG website. WHen one is replaced, it goes bad within months.
I am tired of the run around at this point. If you look at my current case # 6529865 you will see that they want my repairman to call into Customer Solutions to get the compressor. My unit is only 3 years old. To pay for other parts to make a universal compressor work is what I need from You/ Sears! I also feel like after this fiasco the least you could do is to pay for his labor as well. I know that there are 23 steps in order to install this properly. All because of your faulty compressor by LG. I need some answers! No more run around. Stand by your product and make this right.
