Fire in control panel

I turned my oven on and about 10 minutes later, the fuse blew. There was smoke coming from the oven. The door was locked, unable to open because nothing on the panel works. A Sears repairman came today and showed me that one of the wires to the control panel had caught fire. Kenmore Elite Dual Fuel, model 79079383400.
