UNACCEPTABLE EXCUSE
Today at lunch, i ordered a combo burger meal and after confirming the order the staff pass the word to the kitchen of it. I took out money from my purse to make payment together with my kad siswazah 1 malaysia which is accepted and placed them both on the counter. The staff then poured my drink and reached for my money for the payment. She didn't even swipe the card and when i showed her the card after picking it up from the counter, she said "Why didn't you give it to me earlier?" I told her i did place it with the money and she just showed me off. So, i knew it was a waste of my time even if i called for the manager. I was rushing so i didn't want to fuss. And it is not a matter of how much lesser the price could have been after price cut with the kad siswazah but a matter of ethics of a job. I work too and ethics is what we take seriously. If you made a mistake, apologize, report to your boss. In my case, nothing was done. And if you look with a detailed eye, there isn't a complaint or feedback form at the outlets. So if things aren't in black and white, it is also a breach of ethics if you take them lightly!
i hope this matter is looked into, especially at this specific outlet that i have mentioned.
If small matters like this are overlooked, where would customer service and support stand?
