I signed up with Sunset Tans for an auto debit month by month unlimited tanning service. While I was there my friend signed up with me and used my card/paid me in cash because she didn't have one. I decided to move away for the summer and went into the store and told them i was canceling my service because I would be away and that if I wanted to tan again I would return to the store to re-setup my services. They cordially agreed and I went on my way. Two months later in august I reviewed my bank statements and saw that I was still being charged. I called them up and asked them why this was/informed them that I had canceled. They told me that I had canceled for myself but not for my friend (even though we were on the same card/she was in store with me when i canceled). I then said to cancel for her as well and they agreed. It is now feb and i received a harassing phone call from the owner Joe telling me that I owed for the months of Nov, Dec, Jan, and now Feb because they had only frozen my account because canceling would require me to sign a form (which i was not informed of when I was in the store canceling it the FIRST time) and that if I did not pay up he would go to the magistrate. This is COMPLETE bullshit these people are so fake. They will be nice to your face and then try to charge you at any chance they get. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS, you have been warned.
