No Internet
Hi there.
I have been with your company just about two months ago and it was great. On pay as you go.
This morning I run out of credit. I tried to top up the number 07769445887 I paid £25.00 and been told that a credit of £25.00 was successful. Debit card ending number 3816 I waited over two hours but still no Internet I called your office in India but they were unable to assist me I was totally annoyed.
I want to the shop and perishes now SIM number and paid £1.00
I returned home and I installed the SIM and I paid £10.00 from Debit card ending number 2256 and I had confirmation that the £10.00 was successful. Even so I still without Internet.
I went out and perishes a new SIM from three mobiles shop.
.now the total amount I paid Lebara on today date is £36.00
I will ask you kindly to refund the total amount to my debit card ASAP. And in end of the month hopefully I try Lebara again.

PITYFUL COMPANY
cant topup or purchase bundle. when I try from phone message says you cant topup from a withheld number or land line. my number not withheld. website not working again. if you phone helpline say goodbye to any remaining credit then call cut off. PITYFULL SERVICE

Usual top up vanished
Well it seems I'm joining the long queue of unsatisfied/ripped off people with vanished top-up. I had about £5 pound credit and all of a sudden, without any warning, the service has been discontinued and my money with it. I was using it as a back-up sim because the service is very poor and the charges are astronomical. At least they could have warned me by sending a text so I could use my top-up money fully. Thieves! And what pisses me off is that all these government agencies allow these thieves to operate under their "unlawful" terms and conditions .Lebara is crap!

Credit Fraud
My 20 euros credit always finish mysteriously and there is no customer service for that. I called them once and they finished all my credit so I could not call again and I also emailed I never received a reply!! Shame you awful company!!!!! They could have given me a call back!!! They just steal money!!!!!!!!!

Data planss
I travelled from australia. Bought a 30 pound sim card with expectations of a 10 gig data plan. Credit ran out within 24 hours. Customer service is pathetic as had no response from customer service. Would never use them again as most pathetic company for customer service .

Very slow internet speed
Suddenly my internet speed has slowed down significantly. It is down to 10kb/s. It was fine couple of weeks back. I don't know what happened. Please rectify this. It is a pain.

TopUp Vanished
I topped up my balance and made no calls, YET almost all my credit is lost and I don't have any clue where it has gone. I use iphone, and both my cellular data and WIFI assist are turned off. It's really bewildering where my credit has vanished since I did not make any calls!

MAKE A 'CHARGE CALL' EVERY MONTH OR YOU LOOSE YOUR ACCOUNT.
Be very careful. I had a Lebara number and thought that if I made a call within 30 days each month my credit would be safe.
WRONG!
If the number called does not 'pick up', that is to say, the call is a 'Charge Call', you loose your connection and your credit.
My phone recorded the date and time of the call but apparently the Lebara technology does not. Very poor.
This is theft in any other business. Once you have a credit, it should stay with the number even if you don't use that number for at least 12 months.
MAKE A 'CHARGE CALL' EVERY MONTH OR YOU LOOSE YOUR ACCOUNT.
THIS SHOULD BE IN BOLD ON THE FRONT PAGE OF THEIR WEB SITE!!

"Call credit" is worth 1/25th-1/50th of real credit
Lebara ...
Lets say you can make a call for 1c per minute. Great deal huh? Or get an internet package of 1gb for 10 euros.
And Lebara has a great deal. Spend 10 euros and you will always get 10 euros free credit!]
Or you can get 5 euros of "FREE CREDIT" here and there!
So you buy 10 euros of this credit and get 10 euros free.
With 20 euros you can make 20*100 = 2000 minutes of phone calls right? Or 20/0.01 = 2gb of data?
WRONG You can only make 77 minutes of local calls or 40MB of data with it.
But I thought I had 20 euros of credit?
No you now have 20 euros of 'CALL CREDIT'
So in reality your 10 euros is now worth 40-77c.
Oh and therefore the 5 euros of 'free credit' is really worth 10-20c!!!!
So to placate you on your ripoff you get some free data sometimes. I got 200mb (2 euros worth) with my 10-20c of free credit making a true value of ~2.20 euros.
Last year Lycamobile didn't do this, 5 euros free credit was REAL credit, but they may be changing as I saw some retarded 10 euros = 20 euros except when you want to buy something and then it's really 10 euros deal.

6.50 Euros in credit cannot be used
I have credit of 6.50 euros on my Lebara account but Lebara prevents me from using my credit by informing me that I must top up my account before it disconnects me. It also stops me from calling its customer services number until I put more credit on my account.
Even its call cost to landline phones in the UK, which is my home country, has been misrepresented. They said in a leaflet that call charges to the UK was 1 euro cent per minute but I was charged about 22 euro cents per minute.
Sadly, I have concluded that Lebara is a total scam.

Worst customer service experience ever!
Called up lebara customer service to transfer £10 balance sitting in my account from a previous number to my currently used number..the lady handling the call couldn't do that at the sametime was very rude and worst of all deleted my whole account which have blocked my lebara play as well. So very annoyed with all this....will not recommend anyone to go for it...worst experience ever!!

Seems like a pure scam
I topped up my lebara with $10 (there was also $2 earlier) 6/7 hour ago and then when I went to make call my credit was ziro !!! ...$12 is gone without any trace, I contacted with their customer service mail but no reply!
I'm so annoyed!
It's pretty sure that they are just doing a big scam.

Lebara steals my money
After leaving my new phone with the local Lebara-dealer for getting the right Internet ans GPRS settings, I found that a got quite often "top up-warnings" Luckily I had cancelled the auto-top up. When going through my calls for the last three months, I found that ca 200€ had disappeared. My account were tapped, doing strange "calls" to 2-3 numbers. The calls were all of 0 minutes duretion, and mostly done after midnight. One call was charged 90€, but mostly they were charged 16,45€. Stay away from this company.

Speed slowed significantly
I was quite happy with my Lebara prepaid service and paid to have extended fast surfing from my phone. However, come April, my surfing slowed down to a crawl and it has been that way ever since. It is soooooo frustrating! What happened, Lebara? I want my faster service back now!

Credit used up without making call
Yesterday I flew in from Thailand
Night a Lebara SIM card and 10 pounds of credit . I checked my emails on my iPhone, surfed the Internet for about 45 minutes, but when I went to make my ford call within the UK I was told I had used up my credit and should top up. When last in the UK I bought s months package from Lyco
Mobile and in Thailand similarly with a monthly package from AIS and have never been defrauded in this way. My number is 07884203182

Auto top up cancels out before expiry
Since joining Lebara late last year, my account has failed to automatically top up with the UK Plus (12GBP per month), even though I get a confirmation email every time, and even though my dashboard shows the auto top up is set to ON.
I had an expensive monthly contract with Three for 3 years and was asked by a neighbour, who praises Lebara, why was I wasting so much money each month. I'll tell you why. I never had a fault with the service. My phone was always available. I knew where I was with it, day after day, week after week, month after month, year after year. I now face going back to them with my tail between my legs, begging to return. If they'll let me, that is.
I'm abroad right now, and I've just read that I cannot top up online. Great! Just as well I have an old, falling apart trusty PAYG Vodafone with me. When I get back to the UK I won't be able to use the Lebara iPhone until I log on, from home, to top up. If I can be bothered!
Lebara, you had your customer service adviser going through the set up with me last month. I did exactly as you told me. But when it comes to the expiry date, the auto top up has mysteriously cancelled itself out. Why????? Why does it always happen to me? It did it last December when I was away and caused no end of inconvenience because I was unable to contact my family. I couldn't even use the hotel wifi because they used the cloud and I didn't know my password.

They claim to have an online top up service but what they do not tell you us it cannot be used if you are overseas. So if your credit expires when you are outside of the UK you cannot top it up online even with a UK issued credit card. Great service from a so called international mobile phone company. They area as useful as a chocolate fire guard and should go out of business. I will be reporting them to the regulators as the company website is misleading I hope that get a massive fine or better still shut down
