top up issue
I have bought a sim card from Morrisons and after activation, bought the credit online for £10 and still unable to get that £10 credit on to the sim and after failing to get the balance, I have tried customer care and they said they have rectified the issue and within 24 hrs the balance will be showed up, but it did not and bought an £10 voucher from the Morrisons and tried to topup with that and it says invalid code. I am stuck now with £20 of balance gone in thin air with no use. it is hard to reach your customer care as it is a paid number I am raking up the bill on my mobile and the email response is poor. I think there is some serious fraud going on in Lebara. If this is not resolved soon, i have to complain it to the ombudsman to look into the issue.

FRAUD
I've been with Lebara for over 5years on PAYG. I set up auto-top up of £20.00 when balance falls to £2.00.
My annual Lebara cost is under £50, as I'm abroad most of the time.
I returned to uk on 13-Dec-16 and found my Lebara Bal was below £2.00 . Lebara didn't auto top. I did a manual £20.00 top up on 16-Dec-16. I was shocked when I received an alert from my bank on 26-Dec-16 for a £20.00 Lebara top up. That's £40.00 in 10 days.
I queried Lebara by email and phone and the Rep checked and told me the charge was for data usage.
I argued I didn't subscribe to any data bundle as I have wifi at home. I suggested may be the Lebara sim activated itself as I had no cause to use a data plan. I demanded a refund of the £20.00 charged to my account on 26-Dec-16. The Rep refused to do so saying there is a log of the data used. He agreed to send the log sheet which I attach to this report.
Lebara have data plans ranging from £10.00 for 30 days and wonder why they justify the £40.00 they feel I should pay for a 10 days usage.
