Lenovo is taking orders on their site with no products in stock...then having them assembled. Buyer beware.

I ordered an Ideapad 8 on 3/8, with shipment promised in 5 weeks...then a few weeks later...then a few weeks later. It is now promised to be shipped by the middle of JUNE!!!!

How can they get away with this. It's insane. My last email to them, requesting acknowledgment that I was cancelling the order has gone unanswered.

DO NOT BUY DIRECT FRM LENOVO...learn from my experience!!!

Simple story: Ordered pair of computer speakers on 3/15/11 that were listed in stock. Every week or so, the company changed estimated shipping dates until eventually indicating product shipping 5/2/11, seven weeks after ordering. A few days short of that, I get a cancellation notice, product no longer sold. No offer to substitute another product, nothing for my inconvenience whatsoever. Lousy way to do business.

lenovo is fraud. never refunded my money.customer service so bad.. guys from india do not know how to deal with customers.
