My husband had purchased health insurance in August 15,2017. We paid a first month installment at that time, to which we were told there were no certin doctors, or hospitals we could use even out of state was fine to use. We could no have any preexisting condition unless it was a birth defect and that would be covered. The insurance too effect on October 1,2017 on the 15 of the month I had a clinic appointment for back pain,I was sent for an x-ray then a few week later and MRI. None of which I'm finding was covered. I had noticed our insurance cards said Limited benefit when I inquired the insurance was only good for 30,000 max ,I was having so much back trouble my husband call the insurance company and they said we could purchase an upgrade insurance it cover us to a significant amount and the deductible was 1,000 per person after that it was 100% covered .30.00 for Dr visit was great, but I started becoming concerned when the hospitals didn't know of this insurance ,not one but three hospitals. My Rx was Ally also through hiiquote but perscriptions were being filled with no questions,so I thought everything was good. I was sent to a pain management clinic and that was hospital 4 that hadn't heard of the insurance.i was scheduled to have a 3000. $ procedure that would help and possibly prevent surgery,when the hospital called to get pre certificate ,they were refused my husband called when he was told I was out of network the also the dr.was not in net work, when I could both in the automated system by the insurance. My husband was transferred several times with in an hour and half he spent on the phone not to mention several people he could not understand so nicely required to speak to someone else each time he had to recall. I called the next day and explained I needed a authorization for this procedure, I was transferred and finally just told I was being dropped, they would no longer provide insurance coverage.No reason given no explanation just no more coverage . I cancelled my debit card that automatically deducted their monthly payment and thank God because they tried 5 times to withdraw money from the account, called numerous times saying I was not canceled and I needed to pay my premium. This insurance is a sad fraud company.
