I received a letter claiming that this fruitcake had sent me a cheque for £1500.00 that I had not yet cashed. If I would send her £45.00 she would send another cheque for that amount plus a cheque for £23740.00 being money that I won in a draw. I never entered any such draw. Please can this person be stopped................. She will no doubt be catching out the vunerable and unsuspecting people in this world.

I also just received a letter in the mail from the Baroness de Rothman stating right on the outside of the envelope "I am truly concerned about you! I do not understand why the check I sent you has not been deposited. Please respond." An odd thing to write on the outside of a letter!!! No? I also did not receive a check in the mail before this. The deadline says Dec.31, 2014, but I received it in Jan 2015! She also asks for a check for $65 CDN for processing, whatever that means!? So she can send a check for $1500 and for $34,500, plus some "magic talisman" that will keep making money somehow! I too got excited a little bit at first as I too am under the poverty line! But common sense told me to look her up online and there are nothing but complaints about her that I can find!!! BIG RED FLAG!!!! Thank you for having the complaint board on line for all those people who get letters like this to check out before sending money or any information with false hopes! She really should be taken down by Authorities!!! My guess though is that she is not "Baroness de Rothman", that is not her photograph and she is not from the Netherlands! This scam artist allegedly sent a cheque for $1,500. Which she didn't. Then she asks for $65.00 to process a cheque for $1,500 and for $34,500. Deadline Dec. 31, 2014. Received this nonsense on Jan. 12, 2015! She should be reported to the police.

yeah, I too, for a very short time[24hrs] was sucked in by this very professional con artist, promising money[ from the money tree that groes in her garden?!!!] well, ive now informed my bank, n they have alerted all branches re this self appointed 'baroness' re her dodgy deals. hope someone with some sense of decency in Netherlands gives her an affidavit, to show cause. what a dishonest, disgusting type. karma if nothing else will catch up with her.

my poor 87 year old gets bombarded with letters from all over the world all promising money on receipt of
Money. My mum believes the letters and has lost hundreds of pounds. They are all scams. Tear the letter
Up put them where they belong IN THE RUBBISH BIN.

I received a letter today ,from this woman telling me i was the last one she would entrust these numbers to before
withdrawing for good and she guaranteed i would win again and again. i thank god for the computer as it allows me
to check out these people. i get letter after letter from the netherlanda, telling me i have won money but if you don,t
buy what there offering you have to wait six months before you get the money. when you don,t have any money these
letters can excite you for a minute my advice put the letters aside for a day then you will usely tear them up. thanks for your

I felt really excited because I am struggling financially at the moment. I too am the 10th and last person she was going to give her lottery numbers to. So, I thought I would just Google her name and I came across all these complaints about her and found out that many other people had also been the 10th and last person she was going to help. Where does this woman get our names and addresses from? Does she spend her time looking up the white pages in all these different countries. Why can't the authorities do something about this woman? Thank goodness for this site with all the complaints. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
