no credit certificate issued

Purchased furniture back in 2012. Attempted to get the "credit certificate" but was told that I could no longer do that because it was past the window of time. I read the protection plan. No claims, check. Wait 7 years, double check. Submit within 90 days from the time of expiration----therein lies the problem. When I tried to call in 2019, they told me I had to wait but now, according to UNITERS North America LLC, there is nothing they can do. "The system won't let us move forward with that salescheck number. Call the store." I kept all my receipts. 15 min on hold with Macys customer service and no one to help. I am never going to purchase any furniture or protection plan from Macys again. Macys is ridiculous for not re-considering their partnership with UNITERS given the amount of complaints I read here.
