I purchased a Macy’s Worry No More (WNM) warranty when I purchased furniture from them. I did not use the warranty and received a voucher from WNM to use on Macy’s furniture, rugs or mattresses department. After numerous phone calls to get clarification on what actually qualified for the voucher I was then told that no matter what I chose, Macy did not deliver to my zip code so I would have to have the item shipped to a family member then pick up the item from them. My family lives 600 miles away and my friends that I have in my current area all fall under the no delivery area of Macys. Their next suggestion was to hire a third party vendor to ship my item. This was going to cost me more than the voucher. Macy has done nothing to help me. I am out $334. They never mentioned that I could not move (one of the customer service reps actually blamed me for moving) and figured out where Macy ships (like that is something that was on my mind when I moved due to work). This is false advertising and taking advantage of customers. I have tried to get someone from Macy to work with me with negative results.
