I bought a bedroom set from Macy’s seven years ago. My salesman encouraged me to take out the Worry No More plan. He said if, after 7 years, it had not been used, the cost would be refunded. Seven years later, I tried “collecting” only to find he was either totally untruthful or not knowledgeable about the plan. To begin with, it was time consuming and took a LOT of effort to even get a voucher. The process is not user friendly. More importantly, it takes weeks to get the voucher, then must be used within ninety days! Moreover, it is virtually impossible to use unless one purchases an item that is in the store and also qualifies for another Worry No More purchase!! It is probably legal, but smacks of deception and parameters that are designed to keep one from actually using the voucher - ie: only for in store furniture, mattresses or rugs, excludes direct ship items, Take With Furniture, and accessories. There were multiple items I could have used with an on-line purchase, but did not meet their parameters. Worry No More is designed only to benefit only Macys and Worry No More.
