breach of contract

In October 2012 I purchased $5400 in bedroom furniture from Macy's. The salesclerk recommended that I purchase their WORRYNOMORE furniture protection program for an additional $500, which I did, under the promise that they would guarantee that any damages that occurred to the headboard, footboard, rails/slats, night stands, mirror and/or media dresser would be repaired for up to 7 years providing the damage was reported within a week of its occurrence. When I filed a claim in April, a technician came out on May 23 to assess the damage. There was ONE nick in the front edge of the dresser and numerous nicks in one of the rails, but only ONE that had occurred within the allotted time frame required for the contract to be honored. The technician failed to repair either dents but instead took pictures and left. Nor did he ask any questions about the dents that I had reported. This is significant because I would gladly have explained that the large dent on the rail had occurred within the allotted timeframe stated in my service contract.
After waiting 4 weeks for a follow-up that never came, I called Macy's Customer Service Department to find out that my claim was denied claiming "Accumulation of damages" as the reason. I again called Macy's stating the absurdity of this claim, as the dresser had ONLY ONE dent!!! Even the picture the technician took supports this fact!!!
I followed up with numerous emails and attempted to resolve the issue by phone only to be denied and jerked around some more. I subsequently received a letter dated June 29, 2015 stating "It is highly unlikely that the damages would have occurred as a result of a single incident that is required to be reported within the required reporting timeframe." and "It is clear by the service report that you allowed the problem to progress outside of the warranted parameters." When I attempted to call Macy's Customer Service Department at 9:00am to discuss the matter, I received a voice recording stating that there were 12 callers ahead of me. What does that tell you?
I refuse to be scammed by the fraudulent practices employed by Macy's in their WORRYNOMORE program. According to the letter I received from the Denial Dispute Department (administered by UNITERS) of Macy's WORRYNOMORE, they will be unable to take any further action on my claim.
