Unauthorized charges

I am also in this same exact situation. This all stemmed from trying to order the frying pans that are "orgreenic nonstick", which by the way ended up being 2x as much as the price at which they are advertised on TV. The phone call took 23 minutes not 1x being able to talk to a real live person. When all was said and done the pans were something like 75.00 and I also had 2 other charges from "member services"
I never received a welcome package or gift card of any sort! Is there a way to stop this SCAM? all I would like is to have my money back. I am very dissatisfied and this experience has left a bitter taste in my mouth as to ordering anything in the future from the TV.

Unauthorized charges

I made a purchase over the phone and was offered an affiliate product which I declined/or was offered a free trial period (not sure over six months ago) and was told that if accepted would get free gift card and info in mail to cancel service (welcome packet). Never received gift card nor welcome packet with info on how to cancel the service. I have been charged a month fee on $24.95 for 5 months and the company refuses to give me a refund because the claim I authorized the charge. They have charged me close to $100. I have talked to 4 people, with the last person refusing to let me speak to a manager and treating to hang up on me because I was upset and she couldn't/wouldn't answer my questions to my satisfaction. I was not given the companies name, a clear explanation of what they do, or what the supposed benefit would have been to me for "agreeing" to this services passed the "trial" period. The account they are debiting unfortunately is not an account that I manage often, and only use when I want to order something online or over the phone so I don't check it often. They are refusing to give me my money back but say they have cancelled the service. When I did research on this company I found several other customer in the same situation. All of which claim they never received their welcome packet, initial gift card, or information in writing on how to cancel the service. The service reps says since the number was rattled off at the end of the call they are covered. Where do I go from here? CPUC, FCC????
