My advisor had most of my money in two stocks that were doing awful. I lost $14,000.00 in 2 months and she NEVER bothered to give me a call about changing my stocks up. My stocks were not balanced at all. I'm a disabled Vet and on a fixed income, so I depend on the dividends to help me out. This advisor got paid for what? If I hadn't pulled all my money out when I did, I'd be broke by the end of summer! Thanks for nothing. Merrill Lynch is out for making their pockets full of money on our dime. They don't care about the client at all. When I did pull out, in less than 24 hours, I get a phone call telling me that I can't write checks or use my visa card anymore. I have no access to my checking account. It's closed! They also decided to reject my VA check later that night. After they send me a email stating that my account would stay open for 30 days or until 5/6, for any money that may float into my account. I ended up calling creditors and VA and going without money for over two weeks. It was so stressful and I know MERRILL LYNCH did this out of spite. Nice way to treat clients and I hope my sister see's through your BS before she gets screwed.
