Compact Plus
In September I received a message informing me that I could pay only R89 extra a month for compact plus. I called mid September asking more information and to change over to the compact plus, however, she told me that I could only migrate on the 1st of October. I called on Monday 2 October to change over and all of a sudden the lady says the cost is now more than I was quoted, I responded by says that I called earlier in September and told that the special is from 1 October and I am only a day late because 1 October was on a Sunday. Any how the lady put me on hold and came back to me to say I do quality for the special and must pay R539 which includes the PVR function. I transferred the funds and that was it. A few days later my PVR was disconnected and I called in and the man said the discount has not been added to my account and would ensure its done immediately. A few days later my PVR was disconnected again for the same issue. I have spoke to over 30 people with no resolution! I've received promise after promise from several people as well as the procurement department, supervisors etc. We are at the end of November almost and I am still struggling with the same issue where everyone keeps saying do qualify for the discount it just needed to adjusted to my account. I have spent in one week over R300 in phone calls trying fix the mess but no one gets back to me all they do is reconnect me but two days later disconnect me again for a mere R66! Some lady called and said the special was only for September for compact plus but how was that possible if I only received the messages in September and I had all those channels for free in September? Non of this make sense to me and I would like someone to go collect that recoding dated 2 October where the first conversation was held regarding the compact plus and what I was told then please credit that R66. This has become a matter of principle now and will cancel my whole subscription at the end of the month should no resolution be met. I have email after email including mails sent to your Facebook messages where people have promised to help me but NOTHING has been done! I refuse to deal with the incompetent and failing promises made by Dstv staff. I would never even have changed over if I knew it would cost me more than the R89 nore would I have changed over of I knew I would have this amount of hassles! I will rather cancel and do without Dstv if this is the kind of treatment I receive for a stupid amount and it's cost me more than I care to have spent trying to explain to each and every person only to get empty promises!
